Winter Special Pulao

(Serves 4)




Ingredients


  1. 2 cup rice (washed and soaked in 2cups of water)

  2. 1 small cauliflower chopped

  3. 2 tomatoes finely chopped

  4. 1/2 cup peas

  5. 3-4 small carrot chopped

  6. Salt to taste

  7. 1 tsp red chili powder

  8. 1/2 tsp turmeric powder

  9. 1 tsp coriander powder

  10. 2 tbsp oil/ ghee

Procedure

  1. Take a cooker and heat oil/ ghee

  2. Add cauliflower and cook well

  3. Add carrot and cook for 5 mins

  4. Add peas and cook again for 2-3 mins

  5. Add chopped tomatoes, cook further for 3-4 mins

  6. Add spices and mix well.

  7. Add rice with water and let a boil come

  8. Cover it with a lid and give 1 whistle come

  9. One’s there is no steam, open the cooker and serve


For Serving

Serve hot pulao with curd or boondi raita and enjoy the winter special pulao with the sweetness of the fresh vegetables.
