Wheat Paneer Steamed Momos (Dim Sum)




Ingredients


For Wheat Dough


  1. 1.5 cups wheat flour

  2. Salt as per taste

  3. 2 tsp oil

  4. Water as required


For Stuffing


  1. 250 gms paneer (crumpled)

  2. 1 onion (chopped)

  3. 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste

  4. Salt to taste

  5. 1 tsp black pepper

  6. 1/2 tsp red chili powder


Procedure


For Wheat Dough


  1. Take wheat flour, salt and oil

  2. Add water in batches and knead it to soft dough

  3. Cover it with damp cloth and keep it aside for 30mins


For Paneer Stuffing


  1. Take a pan, heat oil and add ginger garlic paste

  2. Add Onions and cook for 5-7 mins

  3. Add paneer and mix well

  4. Add salt and black pepper mix well


For Momos


  1. Make small balls of the dough and roll it to flat

  2. Add paneer stuffing in between and gather the endings together and bind it

  3. Repeat with the other balls

  4. Take idli stand and add water and bring water to boil

  5. Grease the idli stand with oil

  6. Keep uncooked momos and cover the idli stand.

  7. On low medium flame, cook it for 15 mins.



For Serving

Serve steamed momos with schezwan sauce

(12 pieces)
