(Serves 2-3)
Ingredients For Pakoda
2-3 tbsp Kuttu ka Atta ( Buckwheat Flour)
1-2 green chillies
2 Aloo (potatoes) chopped
1-2 tsp grated ginger
Salt to taste
1 tsp cumin seeds
Water as requirwd
Ingredients for Kadi
1 cup Curd
2-3 tb Buckwheat Flour
2-3 green chilies finely chopped
1 tsp grated ginger
1 tsp cumin seeds
Salt to taste
2-3 tsp ghee
1/2-1 tea spoon red chili powder
1/2-1 tea spoon dry mango powder
1-2 cups water
Procedure
For Pakoda
Take a mixing bowl.
Add all the ingredients.
Mix well.
Add water, whisk well, it should be thick in consistency.
Take an Appe Tray, add the batter in the cavity like shown in video.
Add some ghee to it.
Cover it with lid, cook on medium to low flame.
Cook for 7-9 mins.
Flip it and cook from other side too.
Your Pakoda is ready, keep it aside.
For Kadi
Take a mixing bowl.
Add Buckwheat flour and curd.
Add water and mix it well
Add spices and whisk it well.
There should be no lumps in the batter.
Heat Ghee in a pan.
Add cumin seeds and let it crackle.
Add green chilies and ginger.
Toss it well.
Add Kadi Batter on low flame, mix it well.
Add 1 cup of water and let it cook for 8-10mins on high flame.
Keep stirring it well.
Let it cook for 10-12 mins on high flame.
Add prepared Pakoda in it and mix it well.
Cover it with a lid and cook for 4-5 mins.
For Serving
Serve your Vrat wali Kadi with Samak Rice and enjoy your Navratri Meal..
