Vegetable Pulao

(Serves 2-3)




Ingredients


  1. 1 cup rice (washed and soaked in 2cups of water)

  2. 1 onion finely sliced

  3. 2-3 green onions chopped

  4. 2 tomatoes finely chopped

  5. 1/2 cup peas

  6. 1/2cup soya nutrella chunks (soaked in water)

  7. 1-2 green chilies

  8. 1 tsp cumin seeds

  9. Salt to taste

  10. 1 tsp cumin seeds

  11. 1/2 tsp red chili powder

  12. 1 tsp dry mango powder

  13. 1 tbsp oil/ ghee




Procedure




  1. Take a cooker and heat oil/ ghee.

  2. Add cumin seeds and toss for a min or two.

  3. Add onions and sauté it.

  4. Add tomatoes and cook for 2-3 mins.

  5. Add peas and cook for 2-3 mins.

  6. Add soya chunks and mix well.

  7. Add spices and mix well.

  8. Add rice with water.

  9. Cover it with a lid and give it a whistle.

  10. One’s there is no steam, open the cooker and serve.


For Serving

Serve hot pulao with curd and pickle. Enjoy!!
