(Serves 2-3)
Ingredients
1 cup rice (washed and soaked in 2cups of water)
1 onion finely sliced
2-3 green onions chopped
2 tomatoes finely chopped
1/2 cup peas
1/2cup soya nutrella chunks (soaked in water)
1-2 green chilies
1 tsp cumin seeds
Salt to taste
1 tsp cumin seeds
1/2 tsp red chili powder
1 tsp dry mango powder
1 tbsp oil/ ghee
Procedure
Take a cooker and heat oil/ ghee.
Add cumin seeds and toss for a min or two.
Add onions and sauté it.
Add tomatoes and cook for 2-3 mins.
Add peas and cook for 2-3 mins.
Add soya chunks and mix well.
Add spices and mix well.
Add rice with water.
Cover it with a lid and give it a whistle.
One’s there is no steam, open the cooker and serve.
For Serving
Serve hot pulao with curd and pickle. Enjoy!!
