Vegetable Chopsuey

(Serves 2)




Ingredients


  1. 1 packet noddles

  2. 1 onion finely sliced

  3. 1/2 capsicum finely sliced

  4. 1 carrot finely sliced

  5. 1/4 cabbage finely sliced

  6. 2 tbsp hot and sweet tomato sauce

  7. 2 tbsp green chili sauce

  8. 1 tbsp vinegar

  9. 2 tbsp soya sauce

  10. 1 cup water

  11. 6-7 garlic cloves finely sliced

  12. 1 tbsp all purpose flour

  13. 3-4 tbsp water

  14. Salt to taste

  15. 1 tsp chili flakes

  16. 1 tsp oregano

  17. 1 tbsp oil


Procedure






For Noddles

  1. Take a big pan.

  2. Add 3-4 cups water, bring it to boil.

  3. Add 1 tsp salt.

  4. Add noddles and boil it.

  5. After 3-4 mins, drain the excess water and keep aside the noddles.

  6. Pre heat the air fryer for 5 mins at 160 degrees.

  7. Add boiled noddles in Air fryer basket and set it for 7-8 mins.

  8. Shake it in between.

  9. Cook till light brown in color or crisp.


For Sauce


  1. Take a mixing bow.

  2. Add sauces and mix well.

  3. Add water, mix well and keep it aisde.


For Vegetable Chopsuey


  1. Take a pan, heat oil.

  2. Add garlic and sauté for a min or two.

  3. Add sauces and cook well for 10-12 mins on medium high flame.

  4. Add salt, chili flakes and oregano.

  5. Take a small bowl, add all purpose flour and water, mix well and keep it aside.

  6. Add all purpose flour mix and mix well.

  7. Further cook for 8-10 mins or till it gets in little thick in consistency.

  8. Add sliced vegetables and mix well.

  9. Cover it with a lid for 2-3 mins.

  10. Add the Saucy vegetables in the serving plate.

  11. Garnish it with air fried noddles.


For Serving

Serve hot Vegetable Chopsuey with Cold Coffee and enjoy!!
