Veg Pasta Arrabiata





Ingredients


  1. 400 gms pasta (of your choice)

  2. 2 medium onions sliced

  3. 1 capsicum sliced

  4. Black olives (optional)

  5. 7-8 tomatoes roughly chopped

  6. 2-3 green chilies finely chopped

  7. 2-3 tbsp tomato sauce

  8. 1 tsp vinegar

  9. 1 tbsp green chili sauce

  10. Salt to taste

  11. 1-2 tsp Black pepper

  12. Seasonings

  13. 1 tbsp olive oil


Procedure

For Sauce

  1. Heat oil and add green chilies saute for 1-2 mins

  2. Add tomatoes (paste) and mix well

  3. Cook for 5-7 mins

  4. Add sauces and mix well

  5. Add salt, black pepper and seasonings


For Pasta

  1. Boil water in a kadai

  2. Add 1 tsp salt and 1 tsp oil

  3. Add pasta and cook for 5 mins ( minutes for boiling can vary as per the pasta)

  4. Drain the excess water and keep aside the pasta

  5. Heat oil in a pan

  6. Add onions and sauté well for 2-3 mins

  7. Add capsicum and cook for 4-5 mins

  8. Add olives and spices, mix well

  9. Add boiled pasta and mix well.

  10. Add red sauce and mix well

For Serving

Garnish it with cheese and Serve saucy red sauce arrabiata pasta with garlic bread.
