Till ki Chikki

Ingredients


  1. 1/2 cup sesame seeds

  2. 1 cup jaggery (gur)

  3. 1/2 tsp cardamom powder

  4. Chopped almonds



Procedure

  1. Take a pan and add sesame (till) seeds.

  2. Dry roast it for 3-4 mins. (do not burn it)

  3. Keep it aside.

  4. Now add jagger and let it melt. (low medium flame)

  5. It will change its consistency.

  6. It will turn frothy.

  7. Add a drop of jaggery syrup in the bowl of water and after a min or two check if it breaks and crisp. if yes, your jaggery is ready.

  8. Now add the roasted sesame seeds,cardomom powder and chopped almonds.

  9. Mix well on low flame and be fast.

  10. Now add it in a grease container and spread evenly.

  11. Add the rest of the chopped almonds on it and press it.

  12. Cut it in square shape.

  13. Keep it aside for 30 mins.
