Tangy Tomato Sandwich

(Serves 2)




Ingredients

  1. 3-4 tomatoes finely chopped

  2. 1-2 green chilies finely chopped

  3. 1 tea spoon olive oil

  4. 1 tea spoon cumin seeds

  5. Bread of your choice

  6. Salt to taste

  7. 1/2 tea spoon red chili powder

  8. 1/2 tea spoon dry mango powder

  9. 1/2-1 tea spoon coriander powder


Procedure





For Stuffing

  1. Take a pan, heat oil and add cumin seeds, toss for a min or two.

  2. Add tomatoes and green chili, cook till it turns soft on low flame.

  3. Add spices and cover it for 1-2 mins.

  4. Your Stuffing is ready, keep it asid

For Sandwich


  1. Take bread slice, add the tomatoes and cover it with the other bread.

  2. Take a griddle, heat oil and add the stuffed bread.

  3. Cook it from both the sides till crisp.


For Serving

Cut diagonally the bread and serve hot with coriander chutney and tomato sauce. Enjoy!!
