Tamatar - Dahi Wali Arbi



Ingredients


  1. 500gms arbi (sliced finger like)

  2. 1 cup curd (whisked)

  3. 1-2 green chilies finely chopped

  4. 1 tbsp grated ginger

  5. 1 cup whisk curd

  6. 4-5 grated tomato

  7. Salt to taste

  8. 1 tsp cumin

  9. 1 tsp red chili powder

  10. 1 tsp dry mango powder

  11. 1 tsp coriander powder

  12. 1 tsp oil


Procedure


  1. Add arbi in water for 15-20 mins

  2. Take a kadai and heat oil

  3. Add cumin and stir for a min

  4. Add ginger and chilies, cook for a min or two

  5. Add spices and mix well

  6. Add grated tomato and on low flame and mix well

  7. Add spices and mix well

  8. Add arbi and cook for a min or two

  9. Add curd and mix well

  10. Add water as required for the gravy

  11. Cover it with lid and give 3-4 whistles



For Serving

Garnish it with fresh coriander powder or kasuri methi and serve with chapatti or paranthi
