Sooji ka Halwa

(Serves 5-6)






Ingredients


  1. 1 cup Sooji (Rava)

  2. 3/4 cup ghee

  3. 1/2 cup sugar

  4. 2 cups water

  5. 15-20 almonds chopped

  6. 15-20 pistachios chopped


Procedure





  1. Take a kadai, add sooji.

  2. Stir it on medium flame till it turns aromatic.

  3. Meanwhile, add sugar and water and let it to boil and switch off the flame.

  4. Add ghee and stir well for 15-20 mins on low medium flame.

  5. Add chopped dry fruits and mix well. (Keep some chopped dry fruits aside for garnishing)

  6. Add the sugar water and stir continuously, so that there is no lumps.


For Serving

Garnish your Sooji Ka Halwa with dry fruits and serve hot... Enjoy!!
