Samak Dosa

Serves 2






Ingredients


  1. 1 cup Samak Rice (Barnyard millet)

  2. 1/4 cup Sago

  3. 1 tsp grated ginger

  4. 2-3 green chilies

  5. 1 tbsp chopped coriander

  6. 2 tbsp curd

  7. 2 cups water

  8. Ghee for greasing

  9. Senda namak for taste

  10. 1 tsp cumin seeds



Procedure







  1. Take a pan add sago and dry roast it for 3-4 mins.

  2. Let it cool down completely.

  3. Take a grinder, add Barnyard millet and sago.

  4. Grind it to powder form.

  5. Take a mixing bowl.

  6. Add the powder, curd, ginger, green chilies, coriander and spices.

  7. Add water and whisk it well.

  8. It should be of pouring consistency.

  9. Rest ot for 10-15 mins.

  10. If required, add 1/2 cup of water. (optional)

  11. Heat a Dosa pan, Add 2 big spoons of the batter.

  12. Spread it evenly.

  13. Grease it with ghee.

  14. Let it cook for one side.

  15. Gently flip it and cook it for a min or two.



For Serving
