Sabudana Tikki

(Serves 4-5)



Ingredients


  1. 500 gms over night soaked sabudana

  2. 4-5 boiled potatoes

  3. 2-3 green chillies finely chopped

  4. Few roasted peanuts

  5. Senda namak to taste

  6. 1 tea spoon red chili powder

  7. 1 tea spoon dry mango powder

  8. 1 tea spoon coriander powder

  9. Oil for frying


Procedure






For Stuffing

  1. Take a big bowl, add all the above ingredients and mix well.

  2. Make small balls with same and then press it flat.


For Deep Frying

  1. Heat oil for frying.

  2. Check if the oil is ready or not by adding a tiny ball of the stuffing, if it comes up immediately, your oil is ready.

  3. Gently add the tikki in the oil.

  4. Deep fry it till golden brown in color or crisp.


For Air Fryer


  1. Pre heat the air fryer for 5 mins at 180 degrees.

  2. Add the tikki in Air Fryer basket.

  3. Pour some oil (optional).

  4. Set the air fryer for 10 mins.

  5. Shake it in between.

  6. Set the fryer for more 6-7 mins or till golden brown in color.


For Servin

Serve hot Sabudana Tikki with curd and fresh coriander chutney.. Enjoy!!



Ishri’s Kitchen Tip

Sometimes it happen that Sabudana is of not good quality and it discharge water. In that case kuttu aata can be the savior. When you have made the balls then roll it in kuttu aata and then flatten it.
