Sabudana Makhana Kheer

Serves 3-4




Ingredients


  1. 1 liter milk

  2. 1/4 cup makhane

  3. 1/2 cup Sabdudana (soaked for 4-5 hours)

  4. 1/2 cup sugar ( it can vary as per taste )

  5. 15-20 almonds ( chopped )

  6. 15-20 cashews ( chopped )

  7. 4-5 saffron strands

  8. 1/2 tsp cardamom powder


Procedure




  1. Boil milk in heavy pan/kadai.

  2. Lower the flame and add sugar.

  3. Stir well on low flame.

  4. Add sabudana and makhane mix well.

  5. Add dry fruits ( some of it, rest leave for garnishing ) and mix well.

  6. Add cardamom powder and mix well.

  7. Add saffron and mix well.

  8. Keep stiring on low flame, so that it doesn’t stick at bottom.

  9. Keep cooking and stirring till it is half in its quantity on low flame only.



For Serving
