Pyaaz ki Sabji

(Serves 1-2)







Ingredients



  1. 2 big onions finely sliced

  2. 2 red chilies

  3. 1 tsp cumin seeds

  4. 1 tsp fennel seeds

  5. 1/4 tsp asafetida

  6. Salt to taste

  7. 1 tsp red chili powder

  8. 1 tsp dry mango powder

  9. 1/4 tsp turmeric powder

  10. 2 tbsp mustard oil

  11. 1/4 cup water

  1. Take a wok and heat oil.

  2. Add cumin and fennel seeds.

  3. Add red chili and toss it for a min or two.

  4. Add sliced onions and mix well.

  5. Toss it well for 3-4 mins.

  6. Add asafetida and mix well.

  7. Cook well for 10-15 mins on low flame, till it changes color.

  8. Add spices and mix well.

  9. Add water and cook further for 5-7 mins on low flame.


For Serving

Garnish it with Coriander leaves or Kasuri methi and serve hot Pyaaz ki Sabji with curd and chapati and enjoy!!
