Poha Cutlet

(Serves 5-6)






Ingredients


  1. 1 bowl Poha/ Flattened Rice (nicely washed)

  2. 3 boiled potatoes

  3. 1 bowl paneer (cottage cheese) crumpled

  4. 1 capsicum finely chopped

  5. 2-3 green chilies finely chopped

  6. 2 tbsp grated ginger

  7. 1 tsp roasted cumin seeds

  8. Salt to taste

  9. 1 tsp red chili powder

  10. 1 tsp dry mango powder

  11. Oil for shallow frying

  1. Take a mixing bowl.

  2. Add flattened rice/ poha.

  3. Add potatoes and mash it nicely.

  4. Add paneer(cottage chesse) and capsicum.

  5. Add green chilies and ginger.

  6. Add spices and mix well the ingredients.

  7. Make medium balls out of it, and gently press it, giving it tikki shape.

  8. Heat the griddle.

  9. Add oil and place the tikki on it.

  10. Cook till golden brown or crisp in texture,



For Serving

Your Poha Cutlet are ready to serve!! Enjoy hot with coriander chutney or tomato sauce..
