Pindi Chole

(Serves 4-5)






Ingredients

  1. 2cups white chole

  2. 5-6 tomato

  3. 2-3 green chilli

  4. 1 tb spoon grated ginger

  5. Soak imly

  6. 1 tb spoon olive oil

  7. 1-2 tej patta

  8. 1-2 moti ilaichi

  9. 3-4 long

  10. Salt to taste

  11. 2 tea spoon red chilli powder

  12. 2 tea spoon dhaniya powder

  13. 2 -3 tea spoon amchur

  14. 1-2 tb spoon anar dana


Procedure






  1. Boil the over nightly soaked white chole add salt and give atleast 3-4 whistle.

  2. For puree, grind tomato and green chilli.

  3. Take pan and heat oil for 1-2 mins.

  4. Add tej patta, moti ilaichi and long and stir for 1-2 mins.

  5. Add grated ginger and cook for a min.

  6. Add tomato puree and cook for 8-10 mins.

  7. Add all the spices and cook well for 5-10 mins.

  8. Add puree in boiled white chole and cook well for 15-20 mins.

  9. Add soaked imply water and mix well.

  10. Cook further for 10-15 mins.


For Serving

Garnish it with finely chopped ginger and fresh coriander and serve hot!!
