Ingredients
200 gms paneer (cut in cubes)
50 gms grated paneer
7-8 tomatoes (roughly chopped)
1-2 green chilies (roughly chopped)
4-5 red chilies
1 tbsp grated ginger
1 bay leaf
2 green cardmonum
4-5 long
1-2 tbsp melon seeds
5-6 cashews or almonds
1 tbsp fresh cream
2 tbsp oil or ghee
10 gms butter
Salt to taste
1/2 tsp red chili powder
1 tsp fenugreek leaves
1 tsp garam masala
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp dry mango powder
Procedure
Heat 1 tbsp oil in a kadai
Add bay leaf, long, cardmonum and saute for a min
Add tomatoes, green and red chilies, melon seeds and cashews/ almonds
Cook for 7-9 mins on medium low flame
Add half cup water and cook for 5-7 more mins
Switch off the flame and let it cool
Add the tomatoes in a grinder and grind it to smooth paste
Heat 1 tbsp oil and butter together in the same kadai
Add grated ginger and cook for a min or two
Add tomato paste and cook till it looses the sides
Add red chili powder and kasuri methi and mix well
Add cream and mix well
Cook for 6-7 mins
Add rest of the spices and sugar
Add grated paneer and mix well
Add paneer cubes and cook for 7-8 mins
For Serving
Garnish it with fresh cream and coriander and serve hot with phulka, naan or tandoori roti and onion rings/ sirke wale pyaaz and enjoy . Check our breads section for more amazing recipe.
