(Serves 6)
Ingredients
500gms spinach (washed and leaves separated)
8-10 tbsp besan
Salt to taste
1 tsp red chili powder
1 tsp dry mango powder
Pinch of asafetida
1-1.5 tsp ajwain
1 cup water
Oil for frying
Methi Sonth
Coriander Chutney
Whisk Curd
3-4 boiled potatoes
1-2 tomatoes finely chopped
1 big onion finely chopped
Nylon Sev
Salt
Red chili powder
Chaat Masala
Procedure
For Batter
Take a mixing bowl
Add besan and all the spices.
Add water in batches and mix well.
Make a smooth paste and keep it aside,
For Palak Patta Pakoda
Heat oil for frying.
Dip one-one leaves in the besan batter.
Add the coated leaves in the oil for frying.
Stir gently in between.
Once the Pakoda are golden brown in color, take it out.
For Palak Chaat
Take a serving plate.
Spread the palak patta pakoda.
Add boiled potatoes, tomatoes and onions.
Sprinkle salt, red chili powder and chaat masala.
Spread methi sonth, coriander chutney, and whisked curd.
Sprinkle nylon sev or aloo bhujia.
For Serving
Your Palak Chaat is ready to serve... Enjoy!!
