Onion Rice





Ingredients


  1. 1 cup rice (washed and soaked)

  2. 1 onion finely sliced

  3. Salt to taste

  4. 1 tbsp ghee

  5. Fresh Coriander (optional)

  6. 2 cup water




Procedure

  1. Take a kadai, heat ghee.

  2. Add onions and cook till it changes colour.

  3. Add salt in soaked rice.

  4. Add rice on onions.

  5. Cover it with lid, bring it to boil on medium low flame.

  6. After 5 mins remove the lid and stir the rice, add coriander.

  7. Further cook for 8-9 mins or till rice is cooked.



For Serving ( Serves- 2)

Serve hot onion rice with curd/ rajma/ chole/ chana/ matar paneer/ matar aloo and enjoy
