(Serves 2)
Ingredients
1 cup Yellow Split Lentil (Moong dhuli Dal)
2-3 green chilies chopped
2-3 garlic cloves
1/2 tsp grated ginger
1.5 tsp Chickpea flour (besan)
Salt to taste
250 gms Cottage cheese (crumpled paneer)
Oil for greasing
Procedure
Wash the dal nicely, and soak it for overnight.
Strain the water and keep it aside.
Take a grinder, add green chilies, garlic, ginger and dal.
Grind it nicely to smooth paste. (if required add 1-2 tbsp water)
Transfer it to a bowl.
Add salt and chickpea flour and mix it well.
Heat non stick pan and grease with oil.
Add 1 big spoon of batter and spread it evenly.
Add little oil and let it cook from one side on high medium flame.
Add in crumpled paneer and press it.
Flip it and let it cook from other side.
Once cooked apply ghee and serve.
For Serving
Serve hot Moongdal Chilla with coriander chutney or sauce and tea. Enjoy your Protein rich Breakfast!!
