Mirchi ka Achar

Ingredients

  1. 500 gms green chilies (cut in 2 parts)

  2. 1 tsp salt

  3. 1 tsp red chili powder

  4. 1/2 tsp turmeric powder

  5. 1 tsp methi dana

  6. 2 tsp cumin seeds

  7. 2 tsp sauf

  8. 2 tsp rai (crushed mustard seeds)

  9. 6-7 tbsp mustard oil

Procedure

  1. Take a pan.

  2. Add cumin seeds, sauf, methi dana and rai (crushed mustard seeds).

  3. Mix it well.

  4. Roast it well on low flame.

  5. Switch off the flame, let it cool.

  6. Transfer it in a grinder and grind it.

  7. Take a mixing bowl.

  8. Add green chilies and prepared roasted spices.

  9. Add salt, red chili powder and turmeric powder.

  10. Mix well.

  11. Now heat well the mustard oil.

  12. Pour it on green chilies.

  13. Mix well the ingredients.

  14. Store it in glass container.

Note - Add 1 tbsp Vinegar and it will last till 15-30 days.

Serve Green Chili Pickle with your lunch or dinner... Enjoy!!
