Milk Powder Burfi

Ingredients


  1. 2.5 cups milk powder

  2. 1/4 cup ghee

  3. 3/4 cup milk

  4. 1/4 cup sugar

  5. 15-20 almonds and pistachios (chopped)

  6. 1 tsp cardamom powder

Procedure





  1. Take a kadai, add ghee and milk.

  2. Stir it on low flame.

  3. Add milk powder, and whisk well on low flame. (No lumps should be there)

  4. Keep stirring it in low flame for 15-20 mins.

  5. Add sugar and cook till it dissolves.

  6. It will start getting thick.

  7. It will start separating from the kadai, forming dough like.

  8. Add cardamom powder, mix well.

  9. Take aluminum container.

  10. Spread butter paper and apply some oil on it.

  11. Pour the milk powder batter.

  12. Sprinkle chopped dry fruits and press it little.

  13. Let it cool for 2-3 hours.

  14. Take a plate and with the help of butter paper bring the burfi out from the container.

  15. Cut it in square or rectangle pieces.


For Serving (8-9 pieces)
