Methi Thepla

(Serves 4)





Ingredients


  1. 1 + 1/4 cup wheat flour

  2. 1/2 cup besan

  3. 1 cup methi leaves (washed and chopped)

  4. 4-5 green chilies finely chopped

  5. 1 tbsp grated ginger

  6. 1-1.5 tsp salt

  7. 1 tsp ajwain

  8. 1 tsp red chili powder

  9. 1 tsp dry mango powder

  10. 1 tsp roasted cumin powder

  11. 6-7 tbsp curd

  12. Oil for greasing

For dough

  1. Take a big bowl and add all the above ingredients.

  2. Knead it to dough (if required add 1-2 tbsp water or accordingly)

For Methi Thepla

  1. Heat tawa or griddle on high flame.

  2. Make medium balls of the dough.

  3. Dust flour on a dough.

  4. Roll it flat with rolling pin.

  5. Transfer the roti on the hot tawa.

  6. Brush oil and cook from one side.

  7. One's cooked from one side, flip it and press it.

  8. Cook from both sides.


For Serving

Your Methi Thepla is ready,, Serve with green chili Achar or Coriander Chutney or Curd and enjoy!!
