Matar Pulao

(Serves 4)





Ingredients


  1. 2 cup rice (washed and soaked in 4cups of water)

  2. 1 cup peas

  3. Salt to taste

  4. 1 tsp cumin seeds

  5. 2 tbsp oil/ ghee

Procedure





  1. Take a pan, add ghee.

  2. Add cumin seeds and peas mix well.

  3. Add salt and mix well.

  4. Toss for a minute or two.

  5. Add soaked rice with water and mix well.

  6. Stir well and bring it to boil.

  7. Cover it with a lid and simmer the flame.

  8. Let it cook for 10-15 mins on low flame.

  9. Keep checking it in between and stir it lightly.
