Matar Paneer

Ingredients

  1. 1-2 inch ginger cut into pieces

  2. 5-6 medium size tomatoes chopped

  3. 2 green chilli

  4. 2 red chilli

  5. 1 tea spoon refined oil

  6. Add 1-2 cardamom

  7. Add 1 tej pata

  8. Add 2 tea spoon salt

  9. 1/2 tea spoon red chilli

  10. 1 tea spoon dhaniya powder

  11. 1 tea spoon amchur

  12. Add 1-1/4 cup drained out peas

  13. 500gm paneer cut into cubes


Procedure (For Gravy)

  1. Add tomatoes, green and red chillis and ginger. Grind well into smooth paste.

  2. Add 1 tea spoon oil

  3. Add cardamom and tej patta

  4. Add tomato puree

  5. Saute well for 5-7 mins

  6. Add salt, red chilli, dhaniya powder and amchur and mix well

  7. Add peas

  8. Mix well the ingredients for 2-3 mins

  9. Add paneer

  10. Cover the cooker with lid and after 1 whistle put the stove on low flame

  11. After 2 mins turn off the flame

For Garnishing

  1. Serve it in a bowl and sprinkle kasuri methi or fresh coriander
