Matar Mushroom

(Serves 3-4)





Ingredients


  1. 200 gms mushrooms (chopped)

  2. 2 onion roughly chopped

  3. 1 cup peas

  4. 4 tomatoes roughly chopped

  5. 1 tsp grated ginger

  6. 1-2 green chilies roughly chopped

  7. Salt to taste

  8. 1 tsp red chili powder

  9. 1 tsp dry mango powder

  10. 1 tsp coriander powder

  11. Kasuri methi for garnishing

  12. 1-2 tbsp oil


Procedure




  1. Heat oil in a cooker.

  2. Take a grinder, add onions and green chilies.

  3. Grind it.

  4. Add onions and 1/2 cup water.

  5. Cook till it changes colour.

  6. Add ginger and toss it for 2-3 mins.

  7. Take a grinder, add tomatoes.

  8. Grind it.

  9. Add tomatoes and mix well.

  10. Add 1/2 cup water and mix well.

  11. Cook for 5-7 mins on low medium flame.

  12. Add spices and mix well.

  13. Cook further for 2-3 mins.

  14. Add peas and mix well.

  15. Add mushrooms and cook for 2-3 mins.

  16. Add water as required (I have added 1 cup water).

  17. Pressure cook it till 2 whistle and switch off the flame.


For Serving
