Matar Malai Mushroom

(Serves 2-3)





Ingredients


  1. 1 cup mushrooms finely sliced

  2. 1 onion finely chopped

  3. 1 cup peas

  4. 5-6 tomatoes finely chopped

  5. 1 tsp grated ginger

  6. 1-2 green chilies finely chopped

  7. Salt to taste

  8. 1 tsp red chili powder

  9. 1 tsp dry mango powder

  10. 1 tsp coriander powder

  11. 1/2 tsp garam masala

  12. 1-2 tbsp cream

  13. 1 tsp oil

  1. Heat oil in a pan, add green chilies and grated ginger, cook for 1-2 mins.

  2. Add onions and cook till it changes colour.

  3. Add tomatoes and mix well.

  4. Cook for 5-7 mins on low medium flame.

  5. Add peas and mix well.

  6. Cover it with a lid and cook it well

  7. Add spices and mix well.

  8. Add mushrooms, mix it well.

  9. Add 1 cup water and mix it well.

  10. Add cream and mix well.

  11. Cover it with lid and cook for 10 mins on low flame.



For Serving


Garnish it with fresh coriander or kasuri methi and serve hot with phulka or rice.
