Matar Kulcha



Ingredients


  1. 500gms matar (overnight soaked)

  2. 1 big onion finely chopped

  3. 2 tomatoes finely chopped

  4. 3-4 green chilies sliced

  5. Lemon juice

  6. 1/2 cup imli water

  7. Salt to taste

  8. 2 tsp roasted cumin seeds

  9. 1 tsp cumin seeds

  10. 1 tbsp anar dana

  11. 2 tsp chaat masala

  12. 1 tsp dry mango powder

  13. 1 tsp red chili powder

  14. 1 tsp oil


Procedure

  1. Take pressure cooker, add soaked matar and 3-4 cups water

  2. Add 1 tsp salt and cover it with lid, give 3-4 whistles


Tadka


  1. Take a kadai and heat oil

  2. Add cumin and all the spices except anar dana and cook for a min

  3. Add tadka in cooker and cook for 15-20 mins or till matar are in thick consistency

  4. Add imli water and anar dana and cook for 4-5 mins


For Serving

Cut diagonally and garnish with nylon sev and serve hot with tomato sauce
