Masala Mathi

Ingredients

  1. 2 cup all purpose flour

  2. 1/2 cup wheat flour

  3. 3 tbsp oil or ghee

  4. 6-7 tbsp water

  5. Salt to taste

  6. 2 tsp ajwain

  7. 1.5 tsp cumin seeds

  8. 1/2 tsp red chili powder

  9. Pinch of asafetida

  10. Oil for frying


Procedure

  1. Take a mixing bowl

  2. Add maida, aata, oil and spices mix well

  3. Add oil and mix well

  4. Add water in batches and knead the dough

  5. Cover it with damp cloth for 30-40 mins

  6. Make small balls and roll it

  7. Prick it with knife or fork

  8. Deep fry it in batches on low medium flame


Serving

Serve mathi with tea or have it with achaar and enjoy!!
