Masala Aloo Gobi

(Serves 4)



Ingredients


  1. 1 medium cauliflower cut

  2. 4-5 small potato (sliced with width 2 inches)

  3. 4-5 tomatoes (roughly chopped)

  4. 1 tbsp grated ginger

  5. 3-4 green chilies (roughly chopped)

  6. Salt to taste

  7. 1.5 tsp cumin seeds

  8. 1 tsp red chili powder

  9. 1.5 tsp dry mango powder

  10. 1 tsp coriander powder

  11. 2 tbsp mustard oil



Procedure





For Frying Cauliflower and Potatoes

  1. Pre heat the air fryer for 5 mins on 180 degrees.

  2. Add sliced potatoes, brush some oil and fry them for 8-9 mins or more if required, keep aside the air fried potatoes.

  3. Add cauliflower, brush some oil and fry them for 8-9 mins or more if required, keep aside the air fried cauliflower.


For Gravy


  1. Take a pan and heat oil.

  2. Add grated ginger and cook for a mins on low medium flame.

  3. Take a grinder, add tomatoes and green chilies, grind it to smooth paste.

  4. Add the paste in the pan and cook well the tomato paste for 7-8 mins on low medium flame.

  5. Add spices, mix well And cook for 6-7 mins.

  6. Add fried cauliflower and potatoes, mix well.

  7. Bring a boil, add kasuri methi.

  8. Cover for 2-3 mins.


For Serving

Garnish it with fresh coriander or kasuri methi and serve hot.
