Malai Pyaaz ki Sabji

(Serve 2)





Ingredients


  1. 2-3 onion sliced

  2. 1-2 green chilies sliced

  3. 1 cup cream

  4. 1 tsp cumin

  5. Salt to taste

  6. 1/2 tsp turmeric powder

  7. 1/4 tsp asafetida

  8. 1 tsp red chili powder

  9. 1 tsp dry mango powder

  10. 1 tsp garam masala

  11. 1 tsp fenugreek leaves (kasuri methi)

  12. 2 tbsp mustard oil




Procedure







  1. Take a pan and heat oil.

  2. Add cumins and let it crackle for a min or two.

  3. Add onions and green chilies, give it a nice mix.

  4. Cover it with a lid and cook for 6-8 mins on low medium flame.

  5. Remove the lid, give it a nice mix.

  6. Add salt, asafetida and turmeric powder.

  7. Mix it well and cover it and cook further for 2-3 mins on low medium flame.

  8. Remove the lid and give it a nice mix.

  9. Add red chili powder and dry mango powder, give it a nice mix.

  10. Cover it and cook for a min or two.

  11. On low flame, add cream and give it a nice mix.

  12. Cover it with a lid and cook for 5-7 mins on low flame.

  13. Add garam masala and fenugreek leaves, mix it well.

  14. Let it cook for 2-3 mins on low medium flame.



For Serving

Garnish it with Sliced ginger and fresh coriander and serve hot with Roti.. Enjoy
