Malai Kofta




Ingredients

For Kofta


  1. 3 big boiled potatoes

  2. 1.5 cup mashed paneer

  3. 1-2 green chilies finely chopped

  4. Fresh coriander

  5. 2 tbsp all purpose flour

  6. 10-11 almonds/ cashew finely chopped

  7. Salt to taste


For Gravy


  1. 5-7 tomatoes chopped

  2. 2 green chilies chopped

  3. Grated ginger

  4. Few cashews

  5. Senda namak to taste

  6. 1/2 tea spoon red chili powder

  7. 1/2 tea spoon dry mango powder

  8. 1 tea spoon coriander powder

  9. 2 tea spoon sugar

  10. 1 tea spoon ghee

  11. 1 glass milk

  12. 2 tb spoon fresh cream


Procedure

For Kofta


  1. Take a mixing bowl

  2. Add boiled potatoes paneer and mash it

  3. Add all purpose flour, almonds, salt, green chilies, fresh coriander and mix well

  4. Rub oil on your hand and make balls of it

  5. Deep fry the balls on medium low flame till golden brown

  6. Be carefully and stir occasionally as balls are very soft.


For Gravy


  1. Take a kadai and heat ghee

  2. Add chopped tomatoes, ginger, green chilies and cashew and saute it for 5-6 mins.

  3. After that let it cool. And then grind it together.

  4. Add that paste in kadai and cook for 10 mins.

  5. Add milk and stir well

  6. Add all the spices and mix it for 3-4 mins

  7. Add cream and cook the gravy for 10 mins.


For Serving


Take a serving bowl add gravy and then add kofta and serve hot with roti/ tandoori roti and enjoy
