Ingredients
500 gms pumpkin (peeled and chopped)
9-10 curry leaves
1 tsp methi dana (fenugreek seeds)
1/2 tsp asafetida
1-1.5 tsp sugar
1.5-2 tsp dry mango powder
Salt to taste
1 tsp red chili powder
1 tbsp mustard oil
Procedure

Heat oil in cooker.
Add methi dana (fenugreek seeds) and cook for a min.
Add curry leaves and asafetida.
Add sugar and mix well.
Add pumpkin and cook for 10-12 mins on medium low flame. ( it will start getting soft ).
Add spices and mix well.
Add 1/2 cup water and mix well.
Cover it with lid, give 2-3 whistles.
Mash the pumpkin well.
(If excessive water is there, let it cook for a bit)
Serving- Garnish it with fresh coriander leaves and best served with namak ajwain poori..
