Kathi Paneer Roll




Ingredients


  1. 200 gm paneer chopped

  2. 2-3 green chilies roughly chopped

  3. 1 inch ginger roughly chopped

  4. 1 big onion sliced

  5. Half cabbage sliced

  6. 2 small capsicum sliced

  7. Chaat masala

  8. Black pepper

  9. Salt

  10. 1/2 tsp red chili powder

  11. 1/2 tsp turmeric powder

  12. 2 tbsp thick curd

  13. Tomato sauce

  14. Green chili sauce

  15. Oil

  16. Lemon



Procedure

For Paneer marination (optional)

  1. Take a mixing bowl and add paneer

  2. Add curd, grinded green chili and ginger, red chili powder, turmeric powde and mix well.

  3. Keep it aside for 15-20 mins.

  4. Add salt and mix well.

  5. Heat oil in a pan and sauté marinated paneer

NOTE- You can also use paneer without marination.


For Onion Filling


  1. Take a mixing bowl

  2. Add sliced onion

  3. Add 1/2 tsp salt and 1/2 tsp red chili powder

  4. Mix well and keep it aside


For Cabbage & Capsicum Filling


  1. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan

  2. Add veggies and cook for a min or two

  3. Add 1/2 tsp salt and 1/2 tsp black pepper and mix well and keep it aside

For Rolls


  1. Take normal aata dough

  2. Make small balls

  3. Roll it flat ( little bigger in size)

  4. Take griddle and apply oil for greasing

  5. Keep the roti on griddle and cook from both sides

  6. Apply oil for greasing, if required

  7. Keep these chapattis aside in a casserole

  8. Take a chapatti

  9. Apply 1 tsp tomato sauce and chili sauce

  10. Add onions, cabbage, capsicum and paneer

  11. Sprinkle chaat masala, black salt and black pepper

  12. Squeeze lemon and roll it



For Serving

Serve rolls with sauce of your choice
