Ingredients
12-14 arbi
1 green chili finely chopped
1 tsp grated ginger
3-4 red chilies chopped
1 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp ajwain
Pinch of asafetida
Salt to taste
1/2 tsp red chili powder
1 tsp dry mango powder
1 tbsp mustard oil
Procedure
For Arbi
Boil water in a saucepan
Add arbi in boiled water for 10-12 mins (par boil arbi)
Grain the water and peel it
Slice arbi
For shallow frying
Heat 2 tbsp oil
Add arbi and cook from both the side 5 mins each
Keep it aside
OR
For air fryer
Pre heat the air fryer for 5 mins at 180 degrees.
Add par boiled arbi.
Brush some oil on it.
And fry for 5 mins on 180 degrees and keep it aside.
For Jeera arbi
Heat oil in a pan
Add cumin, ajwain and asafetida
Add ginger, green and red chilies and cook for a min or two
Add arbi and spices, mix well
For Serving
Garnish it with fresh coriander and have it with chapatti and enjoy
