Jeera Arbi

Ingredients


  1. 12-14 arbi

  2. 1 green chili finely chopped

  3. 1 tsp grated ginger

  4. 3-4 red chilies chopped

  5. 1 tsp cumin

  6. 1/2 tsp ajwain

  7. Pinch of asafetida

  8. Salt to taste

  9. 1/2 tsp red chili powder

  10. 1 tsp dry mango powder

  11. 1 tbsp mustard oil

Procedure


For Arbi

  1. Boil water in a saucepan

  2. Add arbi in boiled water for 10-12 mins (par boil arbi)

  3. Grain the water and peel it

  4. Slice arbi

For shallow frying

  1. Heat 2 tbsp oil

  2. Add arbi and cook from both the side 5 mins each

  3. Keep it aside

OR

For air fryer

  1. Pre heat the air fryer for 5 mins at 180 degrees.

  2. Add par boiled arbi.

  3. Brush some oil on it.

  4. And fry for 5 mins on 180 degrees and keep it aside.



For Jeera arbi

  1. Heat oil in a pan

  2. Add cumin, ajwain and asafetida

  3. Add ginger, green and red chilies and cook for a min or two

  4. Add arbi and spices, mix well


For Serving

Garnish it with fresh coriander and have it with chapatti and enjoy
