Jeera Aloo


Ingredients


  1. 5 big potatoes (cut finger like)

  2. 1 green chili finely chopped

  3. 1 tsp cumin

  4. Pinch of asafetida

  5. Salt to taste

  6. 1/2 tsp red chili powder

  7. 1 tsp dry mango powder

  8. 1 tbsp mustard oil

Procedure


  1. Heat oil in a pan

  2. Add cumin and let it crackle

  3. Add potatoes and mix well

  4. Cook it for 15-16 mins on medium low flame

  5. (If potatoes are not cooked, cover it with lid and cook for 5-7 more mins)

  6. Add spices and mix well

  7. Cook for 7-8 more mins

For Serving

Garnish it with fresh coriander and serve hot with phulka.
