Hot and Sour Soup

(Serves 4)












Ingredients

  1. 1 small onion chopped

  2. 1/4 capsicum chopped

  3. 1/4 carrot chopped

  4. 1/4 cup chopped mushrooms

  5. 1/4 cup chopped cabbage

  6. 1-2 green chili/s

  7. Salt to taste

  8. 1 tbsp oil

  9. 1-2 tbsp vinegar

  10. 1-2 tbsp tomato ketchup

  11. 2 tbsp green chili sauce

  12. 1 tbsp soya sauce

  13. 4-5 cups water

Procedure








  1. Take a wok and heat oil.

  2. Add green chilies and onions, sauté it for 2-3 mins.

  3. Add carrot and sauté it for 2-3 mins.

  4. Add mushrooms and sauté it for 2-3 mins.

  5. Add capsicum and sauté for 2-3 mins.

  6. Add cabbage and mix well.

  7. Cover it with a lid and cook for 8-10 mins on low flame.

  8. Remove the lid and give it a nice stir.

  9. Add sauces and mix well.

  10. Add salt and mix well.

  11. Add water and give it a stir.

  12. On high flame, cook for 15-20 mins and bring nice boil to it.

  13. Cover it with a lid and cook for 5 more mins on high medium flame.



For Serving
