Garlic Potato Fry

(Serves 2-3)




Ingredients


  1. 3-4 medium potatoes (cut in cubes)

  2. 10-12 garlic cloves

  3. 1 tbsp cumin

  4. 1/2 tsp asafetida

  5. Salt to taste + 1 tsp salt

  6. 1 tsp red chili powder

  7. 1 tsp dry mango powder

  8. 1 tsp coriander powder

  9. 2 tsp kasuri methi (fenugreek leaves)

  10. 1 tbsp mustard oil

  11. 2 cups water

Procedure





  1. Take a mixing bowl, add water.

  2. Add salt and give it a nice mix.

  3. Add potatoes and soak it for 15-20 mins.

  4. Heat oil in a pan.

  5. Add cumin seeds and asafetida.

  6. Let it crackle.

  7. Add garlic cloves and toss it for 2-3 mins.

  8. Add potatoes and mix well

  9. Cook it for 15-16 mins on medium low flame

  10. (If potatoes are not cooked, cover it with lid and cook for 5-7 more mins)

  11. Add spices and mix well

  12. Cook for 7-8 more mins

For Serving

Serve it hot with phulka and curd. Enjoy!!
