Dry Matar Aloo





Ingredients

  1. 1 cup peas

  2. 2 big potato (cut in cubes)

  3. Salt to taste

  4. 1 tsp red chili powder

  5. 1 tsp coriander powder

  6. 1.5 tsp dry mango powder

  7. Pinch of asafetida

  8. 1 tsp cumin

  9. 1 tbsp oil


Procedure



  1. Take a kadai and head oil.

  2. Add cumin, and asafetida and toss for a min.

  3. Add potato and cook for 10-12 mins or till potatoes are cooked on low flame.

  4. Add peas and mix well.

  5. Cook further for 8-10 mins and cover it with a lid.

  6. Add spices and mix well.

  7. Let it cook further for 5 mins on low flame.


For Serving (serves- 2)

Serve hot dry aloo matar with phulka and enjoy
