Dry Chilli Potato






Ingredients

  1. 7-8 potatoes (cut finger like)

  2. 2 tbsp all purpose flour

  3. 2-3 tbsp cornflour

  4. 1 tsp black salt

  5. 1 tsp black pepper

  6. Water as required

  7. Oil for deep frying

  8. 1 big onion finely chopped

  9. 1 capsicum finely chopped

  10. 4-5 green chilies finely chopped

  11. 1 tsp ginger garlic paste

  12. 1 tbsp olive oil

  13. Salt to taste

  14. 1 tsp pepper

  15. 1 tbsp tomato sauce

  16. 1 tbsp green chili sauce

  17. 2-3 tbsp vinegar

  18. Seasoning (optional)

  19. 1 tbsp soya sauce (optional)



Procedure

For Potato

  1. Take a big pan or kadai and boil water

  2. Add 1 tsp salt and potatoes in boiling water

  3. After 6-8 mins switch off the flame and drain out the water

  4. Keep it aside for 15-17 mins

  5. Take a mixing bowl add potatoes

  6. Add all purpose flour, corn flour and spices, mix well

  7. Keep it aside for 20-30 mins

  8. Heat oil for deep frying

  9. Deep fry the coated potatoes

  10. Keep the potatoes aside


For Chili Paneer


  1. Hot oil in a pan

  2. Add ginger and garlic paste and green chili and stir fry for a min

  3. Add onions and sauté well for 3-4 mins

  4. Add capsicum and mix well

  5. Cook it for 3-4 mins

  6. Add salt, pepper and sauces and mix well

  7. Add potatoes and mix well for a min or two


For Serving

Garnish the dry chili potatoes with spring onions or seasoning or white seasom seeds. And Serve hot with fried rice or noddles. Try out our Chinese section for more recipes.
