Ingredients
7-8 potatoes (cut finger like)
2 tbsp all purpose flour
2-3 tbsp cornflour
1 tsp black salt
1 tsp black pepper
Water as required
Oil for deep frying
1 big onion finely chopped
1 capsicum finely chopped
4-5 green chilies finely chopped
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
1 tbsp olive oil
Salt to taste
1 tsp pepper
1 tbsp tomato sauce
1 tbsp green chili sauce
2-3 tbsp vinegar
Seasoning (optional)
1 tbsp soya sauce (optional)
Procedure
For Potato
Take a big pan or kadai and boil water
Add 1 tsp salt and potatoes in boiling water
After 6-8 mins switch off the flame and drain out the water
Keep it aside for 15-17 mins
Take a mixing bowl add potatoes
Add all purpose flour, corn flour and spices, mix well
Keep it aside for 20-30 mins
Heat oil for deep frying
Deep fry the coated potatoes
Keep the potatoes aside
For Chili Paneer
Hot oil in a pan
Add ginger and garlic paste and green chili and stir fry for a min
Add onions and sauté well for 3-4 mins
Add capsicum and mix well
Cook it for 3-4 mins
Add salt, pepper and sauces and mix well
Add potatoes and mix well for a min or two
For Serving
Garnish the dry chili potatoes with spring onions or seasoning or white seasom seeds. And Serve hot with fried rice or noddles. Try out our Chinese section for more recipes.
