Dhai Aloo

(Serves 4)





Ingredients


  1. 4-5 boiled potatoes (mashed)

  2. 1 cup whisked curd

  3. 2-3 green chilies grinded

  4. 1 tea spoon grated ginger

  5. Salt to taste

  6. 1 tea spoon cumin seeds

  7. 1.5 tea spoon red chili powder

  8. 1.5 tea spoon dry mango powder

  9. 1 tea spoon coriander powder

  10. 1 bay leaf

  11. Pinch of asafetida

  12. 1-2 tbsp ghee


Procedure






  1. Take a kadai or pressure cooker.

  2. Heat ghee, add bay leaf and cumin seeds.

  3. Add ginger and green chilies and toss well.

  4. Add asafetida and toss well for a min, now add all the spices and mix well.

  5. Add whisked curd and mix well on low lame.

  6. Add 1.5-2 cups water and bring it to boil.

  7. Add mashed potatoes and bring it to boil.


For Serving


Garnish it with fresh coriander and Serve Dhai Aloo with puri.
