Danthal ki Sabji

(Serves 2)




Ingredients


  1. 2-3 cauliflower stalk (gobi danthal in 4 parts)

  2. 2 medium onions finely chopped

  3. 3-4 tomatoes finely chopped

  4. 1 tbsp grated ginger

  5. 8-10 gralic cloves finely chopped

  6. 3-4 green chilies finely chopped

  7. Salt to taste

  8. 1 tsp red chili powder

  9. 1.5 tsp dry mango powder

  10. 1 tsp coriander powder

  11. 2 tbsp mustard oil



Procedure




  1. Take a kadai and heat oil.

  2. Add grated ginger and garlic cloves and cook for a min or two on low medium flame.

  3. Add onions and green chilies and cook till it changes color.

  4. Add tomatoes and cook for 7-8 mins.

  5. Add danthal and mix well.

  6. Add salt and mix well, cover it for 7-8 mins.

  7. Stir in between.

  8. Add 1/2 cup water and mix well.

  9. Cover it further with a lid and cook for 8-10 mins on low flame.

  10. Stir in between and check if danthal is cooked or not by pressing it with a spoon.

  11. Add rest of the spices, mix well.

  12. Cook further for 8-10 mins on low flame.


For Serving

Garnish it with fresh coriander or kasuri methi and serve hot.
