Dahi wali Bhindi

Serves 2





Ingredients


  1. 250 gms okra cut (one inch)

  2. 1 onion finely chopped

  3. 2-3 red chilies slit

  4. 10-12 garlic cloves finely chopped

  5. 1 cup whisk curd

  6. 1 tsp salt

  7. 1 tsp red chili powder

  8. 1 tsp dry mango powder

  9. 1 tsp coriander powder

  10. 1/2 tsp turmeric powder

  11. 1 tsp garam masala

  12. 1 tsp fenugreek leaves

  13. 2 + 2 tbsp mustard oil


Procedure






  1. Add spices in curd, except salt and mix it well.

  2. Keep it aside

  3. Heat oil in a pan.

  4. Add okra and cook it for 10-12 mins on low medium flame.

  5. Add salt and mix it well.

  6. Keep it aside.

  7. In same pan, heat oil.

  8. Add green chilies and garlic.

  9. Toss it well for 4-5 mins.

  10. Add onions and cook till it changes color.

  11. On low flame, add curd along with 1 cup of water and mix it well.

  12. Let it cook for 2-3 mins.

  13. Add okra and mix it well.

  14. Cover it with a lid and cook it well on low medium flame for 10-15mins.


For Serving
