Ingredients
For Bhalle
1/2 cup White Urad Lentil (washed and soaked)
2-3 green chilies chopped
1-2 tbsp grated ginger
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp red chili powder
1 tsp carom seeds
For Dhai Bhalle
1 big bowl whisked Curd
Tamrind Chutney
1 tbsp dried mint leaves
Finely sliced ginger
Finely sliced green chili
Salt to Taste
Masala Bondi for garnishing
Procedure

Soak the lentil overnight.
Drain the water completely.
Add the lentil in grinder, in batches.
Grind it to smooth paste. (If required, add 1 tbsp water)
Transfer it in a big bowl.
Add chopped green chilies, grated ginger, salt, red chili and carom seeds.
Whisk it well, till the batter turns fluffy. Take a small bowl of water, add a drop in it, if it starts to float, your batter is ready.
Heat oil for frying.
With the help of spoon or fingers, add the prepared batter and fry it.
Fry it on medium heat, till it turns golden brown in color.
Take it out and transfer in a bowl full of water so that it turns soft.
For Dahi Bhalla
Take a serving bowl.
Add whisk curd.
Add in your soaked vada, while pressing it (to extract excess water).
Add mint leaves, Tamrind Chutney, mix it well.
Add in sliced ginger and green chilies, salt and mix it well.
For Serving
