Ingredients
2.5 cups White chickpeas (overnight soaked)
6-7 tomatoes roughly chopped
2-3 green chilies roughly chopped
1 tbsp grated ginger
Salt to taste
1 tsp red chili powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp dry mango powder
1 tsp garam masala
1 tbsp mustard oil/ olive oil
Procedure
Take a pressure cooker and add overnight soaked chickpeas,1 tsp salt and give 2-3 whistles.
Take a pan and heat oil
Add ginger and cook for 1-2 mins on medium low flame
Grind tomatoes and green chilies together in smooth paste
Add this paste in kadai and cook till it changes color
Add spices and cook for 5 mins
Add this in boiled chickpeas and cook for 10-15 mins
If chickpeas are not boiled in first go, cover it with lid and let 1-2 whistles come
For serving
Garnish it with garam masala/ fresh coriander/ kasuri methi and serve with rice.

If in hurry and guests are coming and u haven’t soaked chickpeas. No worries!!
Add chole in cooker after wash and let it boil for 5 mins and switch off the flame.
After 10 mins cover with lid and give 3-4 whistles and continue with the procedure
