Chilli Baby Corn (Dry)




Ingredients


For Baby Corn


  1. 1 packet baby corn (blanched)

  2. 4 tbsp all purpose flour

  3. 1 tsp black salt

  4. 1 tsp black pepper

  5. 1 tbsp vinegar

  6. 1 tbsp green chilli sauce

  7. 1 tbsp tomato sauce

  8. Water as required

  9. Oil for deep frying


For Chilli Baby Corn

  1. 1 big onion finely chopped

  2. 1 capsicum finely chopped

  3. 4-5 green chilies finely chopped

  4. 1 tsp ginger garlic paste

  5. 1 tbsp olive oil

  6. Salt to taste

  7. 1 tsp pepper

  8. 1 tbsp tomato sauce

  9. 1 tbsp green chilli sauce

  10. 2-3 tbsp vinegar

  11. Seasoning (optional)

  12. 1 tbsp soya sauce (optional)


Procedure

For Blanching Baby Corn

  1. Boil water

  2. Add 1 tsp salt and 1 tsp sugar

  3. Add baby corn in boiling water and let it boil for 2-3 mins

  4. Drain out the water

  5. Take a mixing bowl add all purpose flour

  6. Add spices and sauces, mix well

  7. Add water as required and whisk well

  8. Dip baby corn in the batter and deep fry on medium flame

  9. Take out the baby corn and put it on the tissue paper and keep it aside


For Chilli Baby Corn


  1. Hot oil in a pan

  2. Add ginger and garlic paste and green chilli and stir fry for a min

  3. Add onions and sauté well for 3-4 mins

  4. Add capsicum and mix well

  5. Cook it for 3-4 mins

  6. Add salt, pepper, and sauces and mix well

  7. Add baby corn and mix well for a min or two


For Serving


Garnish the chili baby corn with spring onions or seasoning And Serve hot with fried rice or noddles. Try out our Chinese section for more recipes.
