Chili Mushrooms

(Serves 2)




Ingredients


For Mushrooms


  1. 1 packet mushrooms

  2. 4 tbsp all purpose flour

  3. 4 tbsp corn flour

  4. 1 tsp salt

  5. 1 tsp red chili powder

  6. 1 tbsp soya sauce

  7. 1 tbsp green chili sauce

  8. 1 tbsp tomato sauce

  9. 1/2 cup Water

  10. Oil for deep frying


For Chilli Mushrooms

  1. 1 big onion finely chopped

  2. 1 capsicum finely chopped

  3. 4-5 green chilies finely chopped

  4. 7-8 garlic cloves finely chopped

  5. 1 tbsp olive oil

  6. Salt to taste

  7. 1 tsp pepper

  8. 1 tbsp tomato sauce

  9. 1 tbsp green chilli sauce

  10. 2-3 tbsp vinegar

  11. Seasoning (optional)

  12. 1 tbsp soya sauce (optional)

For Mushrooms

  1. Take a mixing bowl add all purpose flour and corn flour.

  2. Add spices and sauces, mix well.

  3. Add water and whisk well.

  4. Dip mushrooms in the batter and deep fry on medium flame.

  5. Take out the mushrooms and put it on the tissue paper and keep it aside.


For Chilli Mushrooms


  1. Heat oil in a pan.

  2. Add garlic ,stir fry for a min.

  3. Add green chilies and toss for a min or two.

  4. Add onions and sauté well for 3-4 mins.

  5. Add capsicum and mix well.

  6. Cook it for 3-4 mins

  7. Add salt, pepper, and sauces and mix well

  8. Add mushrooms and mix well for a min or two

For Serving


Garnish the chili mushrooms with spring onions or seasoning or white sesame And Serve hot with fried rice or noddles. Try out our Chinese section for more recipes.
