Chana Dal Chutney



Ingredients


  1. Take 1 cup roasted chana dal

  2. 200 gms grated coconut (gola)

  3. Ginger

  4. 4-5 green chilies

  5. Salt to taste

  6. 1 tbsp mustard oil

  7. 1 tbsp mustard seeds

  8. 7-8 curry leaves

  9. 5-6 red chilies


Procedure


  1. Take chana dal and roast it well

  2. One’s it is done soak dal in water and keep it aside for half an hour

  3. Take grinder, add chana dal, grated coconut, ginger, green chilies and salt

  4. Add some water and grind it into smooth paste


Tip

Keep seeing the chutney in between that it is grinding well or else add water if required


For tadka


  1. Take mustard oil and heat it in a pan

  2. Add mustard seeds, curry leaves and red chillies and saute well for 2 mins

  3. Add this tadka on the chutney


For Serving

Serve this chutney with idli or dosa and enjoy
