Butter Naan

Ingredients


  1. 3 cup all purpose flour

  2. 3/4 cup curd

  3. 1 tsp sugar

  4. 1 tsp baking powder

  5. 1 tsp oil

  6. Water as required

  7. Kalonji seeds

  8. Melted butter



Procedure


For dough

  1. Take a mixing bowl, add curd, sugar and baking powder.

  2. Mix all the ingredients, till sugar gets dissolve.

  3. Add all purpose flour and oil.

  4. Mix well.

  5. Add water in batches and knead it to soft dough.

  6. Cover it for 2 hours with damp cloth.


Process For Naan


  1. Heat griddle.

  2. Make medium size balls.

  3. Take a ball.

  4. Sprinkle some all purpose flour, press it little and kalonji seeds.

  5. Roll it flat.

  6. Add that on hot griddle.

  7. Half cook from both the sides.

  8. Remove griddle and cook further on direct flame and remove it.


For Serving

Brush the naan with butter and enjoy with dal makhni/ shahi panner/ dum alloo (refer to our North Indian page for more recipes)
