(Serves 4)
Ingredients for Kadhi
1 onion finely sliced
1 cup peas
7-8 garlic cloves finely chopped
500gm sepreta dhai
2-3 tb spoon besan
Salt to taste
1/2-1 tea spoon red chili powder
1 tea spoon turmeric
1/2-1 tea spoon dry mango powder
1/2-1 tea spoon coriander powder
1/2 cup Bondi
Procedure
Process For Kadhi
Take a mixing bowl.
Add curd and besan.
Add spices and whisk well (no lumps should be there).
Take pressure cooker, add ghee/ oil.
Add garlic cloves and sauté it for 2-3 mins.
Add onions and cook till it changes color.
Add kadhi batter and cook well for 15-20 mins on low medium flame.
Add 1 cup of water, as kadhi batter will get thick and cook on low flame.
Add peas and cook well for 15-20 mins.
Ingredients for Tadka
1 tb spoon mustard oil
1/2-1 tea spoon sarso
1/2 tea spoon methi dana
1/2 tea spoon hing
1 tea spoon grated ginger
5-6 red chilli
9-10 curry leave
Salt to taste
1/2 tea spoon red chili powder
1/2 tea spoon dry mango powder
1 tea spoon coriander powder
Process for Tadka
Take a pan and heat oil.
Add mustard seeds, one's crackling sounds comes, add curry leaves, ginger, red chilies, methi seeds and sauté well for 2-3 mins. Add all the spices and mix well for 1min.
Add tadka in the kadhi. Simmer the cooker in low flame for 15-20 mins.
For Serving
When about to serve, add bondi and serve hot. Serve hot with rice or roti and enjoy the Bondi Kadhi!!
